Pastor Nominating Committee Update

As we shared last week our Ministry Discernment Profile (MDP) is now live on the PC(USA)'s "Church Leadership Connection" website, enabling our profile to be matched with appropriate candidates and also to allow candidates to directly apply for our role.  In other words, our Head of Staff role is posted and out in the world for all to see!  We are currently reviewing the first round of matches, and anticipate reviewing many more over the coming weeks.  These initial reviews will then lead to closer reviews and discussions with a smaller number of candidates.  
 
Since our role is now live, we are asking for your help in amplifying the position.  You can find a link to our posting here - https://clc.pcusa.org/mdp/13491/view/.  Please post the role across your social media, including LinkedIn.  And please feel free to share our posting with anyone you believe might be a good candidate - or someone who may know of a good candidate.  If you prefer to share a potential candidate's name wirth the PNC, feel free to speak to any PNC member or send us an email at fpcwoopnc@gmail.com.
 
As we have mentioned previously this current phase of the PNC process necessarily involves confidentiality in order to protect and respect potential candidates.  We will certainly update you as much as possible around our process and current work, but we cannot share any information about potential candidates.  So while we will not hold weekly office hours, you can always speak to a member of the PNC.  And also - please visit our table at Rally Day!
