RDM Update

Greetings from the RDM!
As we pass the half-way point of 2026, the finances of our church family have largely played-out according to budget as planned and anticipated by Session and the RDM.
Highlights during the first half of 2026 include an unexpected $72,000 in residual funds from the closing of the Wee Care program formally housed in our basement space several years ago. The Wee Care board voted to contribute these funds to FPC in appreciation of the many years that we hosted them in our facility. Other fiscal positives so far this year, is the revenue that we are now receiving from our new lease relationship with the Montessori School of Wooster. As you know, the school will begin their new secondary program in our lower level this school year. Be sure to welcome the students and staff throughout the weekdays as the activity level of our building becomes more bustling!
Your families should have received your June 30, 2026 giving statements. These quarterly statements are merely a reminder and status of your 2026 pledge promise to our church based on the stewardship campaign and cards that you turned in last November. We are a bit behind in our congregational giving year-to-date, so any adjustments and catch-ups will be appreciated.
This year will prove to be exciting and transitional for our church family as we say a heartfelt good-bye to David’s ministry over these past many years. Please know the RDM Team and Session are hard at work to make this transition as smooth as possible. As always, please forward any financial questions or concerns to any of the RDM members listed below.
