Gardeners are still needed to tend some of the church's gardens. One is on the northwest corner of the church. Its major feature is a beautiful weeping cherry and several iris patches (all the dead flowers and stems have been removed). However, a thorough weeding job is required. That should take no more than an hour. Continuing eastward past the ramp is a hosta and columbine garden. It was recently weeded by one of the regular gardeners in addition to his/her regular garden job. An hours' worth of effort every other week is all that is necessary for that area.
Adjacent to "People to People" and the stairs to the lower level is a garden now containing only shrubs (no flowers at all). Therefore, anything else (weed or plant) can be removed. An hours' worth of effort every other week is all that is necessary for that area.
At the lower level at the bottom of the stairs is a garden adjacent to the church, which now is much more manageable. An hours' worth of effort every other week is all that is necessary for that area.
