Wooster Chorus Concert - March 23 at 7:30pm

First Pres Wooster is proud to once again welcome the College of Wooster Chorus. We are their first concert stop on the Spring 2025 Tour on Sunday, March 23 at 7:30 PM.  This highly acclaimed, 50 member collegiate choir from Wooster, OH is directed by Dr. Lisa Wong. The concert is free, and a reception will follow in Bruch Hall.

Founded in 1964, the Wooster Chorus is comprised of students representing all academic areas within The College of Wooster’s liberal arts program. The award-winning ensemble has been repeatedly praised for its beautiful sound, high level of artistry, creative programming, and engaging performances.  The Chorus collaborates annually with The Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and has premiered a number of works by American composers including Eric Whitacre and Jake Runestad. The ensemble has performed at the Central Division conference of the American Choral Directors Association, and also several times at the state conference of the Ohio Music Education Association.
