PARLOR ADULT EDUCATION CLASS ADVENT SERIES
Join the adult education class meeting in the parlor for our Advent series “Light of the World”.  We’ll explore the stories of Christmas with commentary from Amy-Jill Levine, Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School.  A self-described “Yankee Jewish feminist who teaches in a predominantly Protestant divinity school in the buckle of the Bible Belt,” Levine brings a unique perspective to the narratives of Jesus’ birth.
 
All are welcome to join us the four Sundays of Advent at 9:00 a.m. in the parlor.
