Tricia James, our Director of Congregational Life, enthusiastically attracts and engages new members and current families in joining together in fun events and activities at FPC and in working with the Wooster community. Below are some of our meaningful ministry programs:
♦ Marvelous Meals - A group of dedicated men and women meet six times a year to cook care packages for our congregation and community. They enjoy trying new recipes and sharing kitchen tips. They prepare heart healthy meals and deliver them with comfort and a smile!
♦ Fall Fest - Each October, we host our neighborhood community at our annual Fall Fest. Growing each year (now over 300 guests), we host a family friendly and heart healthy meal. Children come dressed in their favorite costumes! Music, games, inflatables and edible arts are enjoyed by all!
♦ Earth Care - FPC is an Earth Care Congregation and is PROUD to be GREEN! Protecting God's world is a top priority to our congregation. We participate by planting community gardens, using compostable plates/bowls/cups, battery and paper recycling and giving educational lectures. Don't have a garden but are itching to dig in to God's rich soil? Our community gardens are open to the public. Join us to plant, weed, water and harvest!
